Saturday Night Dirt

In a small town in northern Minnesota, the much-anticipated Saturday night dirt-track race at the old-fashioned, barely viable, Headwaters Speedway becomes, in many ways, an important life-changing event for all the participants on and off the track.

High School/ Adult Selection

A collection of stories set in Lake Wobegon taken from monologues performed on A Prairie Home Companion. Leave-taking or homecoming events: trips to Minneapolis, high school graduations, attending the Minnesota State Fair, a boy joining the army, Father Emil retiring from Our Lady of Perpetual Responsibility are commonplace and humorous.
